Students at Minsthorpe Community College have achieved an incredible set of results this summer, with over 70% of students attaining 5 or more A*-C grades including English and maths. This is a fantastic outcome and is a stratospheric rise of over 20% on the previous year. The proportion of students reaching the top GCSE grades has also risen by over 10%.
These impressive achievements have been reflected throughout the college at both pre- and post-16 education this summer across both academic and vocational subjects.
The College is now impressively above national outcomes on a wide range of major indicators.
There were many individual student successes, but in particular special mention goes to Lydia Dalton, Olivia Galvin, Hannah Morgan and Catherine Snow who all got nine A* or A grades in GCSE subjects.
We are delighted in congratulating all of our students and staff for their hard work in achieving such an excellent set of results!
