Non-Uniform Day will be Friday 14th November 2014
The Student Council has decided that this, along with funds raised throughout Charity Week from 10th to 14th November, will be in aid of the following charities:
- Meningitis Now
- Teenage Cancer Trust
- Caudwell Children
- Children in Need
The Student Council agreed that Meningitis Now, Teenage Cancer Trust and Caudwell Children are all supporting current or ex-students and their families. In addition this year we have moved our non-uniform day from the last Friday of the Autumn Term to 14th November to coincide with the national fundraising event of Children in Need Day, another worthy cause. Post 16 Students only are invited to wear fancy dress on this day and not on the 18th as advertised in the Charity Week Programme.
The charge for attending College in non-uniform/ fancy dress is £1.00.
However we must stress the following:
- No fancy dress (Y7-11)
- No jewellery or hats under any circumstances
- No extremes of fashion including clothing which has slogans/offensive writing or innuendo
- No excessively high heels
- No shorts
Thank you once again for your support of the students’ efforts to support these charities.
Mrs S Adams
On behalf of the Student Council
