We request that all parents/carers support the college by reminding their child about safety when walking to school and crossing roads.
At Minsthorpe Community College Safety Assemblies are delivered to all year groups, which included road safety. However, we are receiving reports from the public about students putting themselves at risk! We need to work together to ensure that all our young people are aware of the dangers and hazards around them.
Please reaffirm the message that students should not indulge in horseplay near, or when crossing, a road. They should only cross roads at safe places – avoid crossing at junctions, between parked cars and always look in both directions.
We thank you for your continued support.
