Student Insight 31/01/2018: NSPCC Number Day

NSPCC Number Day 2018

On Friday 2nd February we are running a day to promote NSPCC Number Day.

At Snack Break 2 in M2 we are holding a quiz, in M3 we are running a sweet shop, a raffle, you can decorate a ruler and play Connect 4 with your friends. We are also having a ‘Guess the Number of Sweets in a Jar’ competition as well. As well as this in the Old Sports Hall we are running ‘Beat the Goalie’.

Make sure you bring some extra change to donate to the NSPCC and help raise awareness.

What is the NSPCC?

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a non-profit charity dedicated to the protection and well-being of children. In 1987 the NSPCC launched the 1-2-1 telephone helpline service for children who are being bullied or in a crisis.

They also provide a service called NSPCC NetWare, this service tells parents and children about what ages should be on certain apps and social media websites;

If you feel that you need to talk to someone about any issues then let a member of staff know.
