Minsthorpe Community College, Wakefield College and Futureworks (Yorkshire) have teamed up to launch a new shared apprenticeship model specifically tailored to the needs of schools, in order to increase the number of apprenticeship places offered within Wakefield District Schools and Colleges for Minsthorpe School leavers.
Mark Scott (Future Works and ex Minsthorpe student) is coming into College on Wednesday 15th April 2015 to give a presentation about the project. The presentation will commence at 4.30pm in the Training and Conference Centre.
We are inviting students and parents who are interested in apprenticeships that would like some information on this new exciting scheme to come along to the presentation.
To reserve your place, please contact the school on 01977 657600 and ask for Tim Dowey. If Tim is not available please ask for a message to be passed on to him confirming your attendance.
If your child is interested in an apprenticeship in one of the areas listed below then please come along:
- Business Administration (including Reception)
- Teaching Assistant (including Sports and PE)
- School Support (including Science and Design Technicians)
